Human behavior...

I find myself fascinated by a particular human behavioral trait recently... The obsessive desire to demand second chances when faced with an ultimatum. At best, demanding another chance validates the detractors issue of having failed the first attempt, but it says nothing of ones dedication to make the right choices the first time.

And what of multiple attempts? Do we honestly require multiple takes to simply do the right thing? What have we become that when entering a situation willingly, we consistently fail to do exactly what we came to do? I would ask you then, "why are you here?" Clearly this situation is less than ideal for you; otherwise one thinks you would proceed with flying colors, and that second chances are the thing of fantasy. There's no need for a second chance in a world where people do exactly what they came to do, and nothing less...

Very fascinating shit... We are very strange creatures.
